Publishing Principles
Evidence first. Useful always.
How The Line Brief verifies sources, labels evidence, handles AI assistance, and corrects the record.
Source Discipline and Evidence Labels
Every brief links directly to the named primary report, trade publication, survey, or announcement it summarizes. We never copy full articles or present a vendor press release, respondent survey, or conference anecdote as independently audited operational proof. Every brief carries one of five explicit labels: Industry/Independent reporting, Analysis, Survey finding, Sponsored, or Vendor announcement.
AI-Assisted, Human-Reviewed Editorial Workflow
The Line Brief uses structured software and AI assistance to organize discovery and draft candidate summaries, but every published brief is reviewed and edited by Mike Colligon, CFSP against the original source before publication.
Corrections Policy
We distinguish between material corrections and minor maintenance:
- Material corrections: If a factual error changes the meaning, numbers, attribution, or evidence classification of a brief, we update the brief and append a dated correction note explaining what changed.
- Minor repairs: Quiet spelling, formatting, or broken-link repairs that do not alter meaning may be made without a formal correction notice.
Report any factual discrepancy or broken source link in published issues to info@ai-elevates.com.
Commercial Independence
The Line Brief is published by AI Elevates LLC. Editorial selection and evidence labels are never for sale. If sponsorship is introduced in a future edition, sponsored material will be plainly labeled and strictly separated from independent editorial judgment.
